Suspected Ebola victim dies in Saudi Arabia

A Saudi Arabian man who was being treated for Ebola-like symptoms died today August 6th at a hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the country's health ministry said.
According to a post on the website of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Health, the unidentified 40 year old man was being treated for symptoms of the deadly virus in an isolated ward when he suddenly died after suffering a cardiac arrest.

He was fast asleep as I picked his phone and saw nude pictures of a girl named Tolu who lives in Akure. May I humbly apologize if my comments on Ebola – based on fear – were taken out of context. The last thing I wanted to do was to alarm anyone.
My heart goes out to all the families who have been affected by the Ebola virus – those who have lost their lives or loved ones, those who are still bravely fighting the disease and all of the communities who are battling to keep the infection under control.

Police ban vigilante, non-governmental security outfits

Ahead of the Saturday governorship election in Osun State, the State Police Command has banned all categories of vigilante groups as well as non-governmental security agencies operating in the state from engaging in any form of activities henceforth.
The command also warned all war-mongers, trouble shooters, persons, groups or groups of persons with the intent of carrying out any act that could lead to threat to peace before, during and after the gubernatorial election to steer clear of the state. The ban was contained in a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mrs. Folasade Odoro (DSP).

Earthquake Hits Johannesburg, South Africa, 1 Killed

A 5.3 earthquake this morning August 5th shook buildings in Johannesburg and surrounding areas.. killing one person and injuring at least 3 people. The tremor which lasted just one minute reportedly broke glasses, cracked walls and aftershocks were felt by many.
 According to Werner Vermaak, a spokesman for emergency responders, at least one person was killed and three people injured. The man was reportedly killed when a wall of a disused mining building fell on him in the Orkney area of Johannesburg, which is where the quake was centred.

Lagos has 8 suspected Ebola cases, 1 confirmed - Lagos Health Commissioner

The Lagos state Commissioner for Health, Dr Jide Idris, today August 5th said there are now eight suspected cases of Ebola in Lagos. These eight are those who came in contact with Liberian Patrick Sawyer, who died of Ebola shortly after arriving Lagos last month.

TB Joshua Asks Ebola Victims To Stay In Their Countries

Prophet TB Joshua has asked Ebola victims who are planning to come to his church for cure to stay in their country, as Nigeria forbids people with the virus crossing borders.
The prophet made the announcement today on his Facebook page after Lagos State officials yesterday visited his church and pleaded with him, not to attend to any victim of Ebola whom might have been sneaked into the country.
