The incident occurred at the Ifelodun street environs of Akingbala in the Eleweeran area of Abeokuta, the state capital. The officer, identified as Sunkanmi Ogunbiyi, killed his wife, a motorcyclist and 5 members of the same family, one of whom was 2 years old.
