She identified Carlos Love, 21, and Dantraz Oliver-McClung, 19, as two of the perpetrators while testifying Wednesday morning in 36th District Court. Two other suspects in the case remain at large, police said. Both men were charged with four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and four counts of assault with attempt to penetrate in connection with the incident reported at Jason Manor Apartments. On hearing the evidence in Wednesday’s preliminary examination, District Judge Alicia Jones-Coleman moved both cases forward to Wayne County Circuit Court. The alleged victim attended a friend’s birthday party at the apartment the night of March 4.
She said that as the men took her to the bedroom, she called to her friends for help, and she resisted multiple times as the men tried to force her to perform oral sex. The four men took turns raping her through the incident that lasted about 15 to 20 minutes, she said.
Next, the party dispersed. She was taken from the scene to a hospital about 3:30 a.m., and the building was engulfed in flames by about 6:40 a.m.
